Ines lace earrings with garnet stones

Exquisite small lace drop hoop earrings with rose cut garnet stones. We picked rose cut deep red garnet stones for these precious earrings. The stones reflect the light beautifully. The garnet is traditionally the birthstone for January. The name 'garnet' comes from the medieval Latin 'granatus', meaning pomegranate. A garnet is believed to give greater self confidence and to promote positive thinking.

For the earrings drops, we repurposed 1930s French Valenciennes lace and solidified it in 24k gold. Originally, this lace was used for fine lingerie. The lace hoops mirror each other and frame the face.
