Marissa - Silver Lace Necklace with Aquamarine Stone

The glittering pendant is made from 1930s French bobbin lace dipped in sterling silver. From the lace pendant hangs a beautifully faceted Aquamarine stone. The bezel for the Aquamarine stone has a crown edge just like the lace. The lace pendant and the shimmering stone sparkle together.

The Aquamarine is also called 'water of the sea' because of its light blue color. We named the necklace Marissa, which comes from the Spanish and Latin words for 'of the sea.'  The stone is associated with tranquility, clarity and harmony. It is thought to bring happiness and love to those who wear it.  The Aquamarine is the traditional birthstone for the month of March.
